Last. 2 nights RL are unbearable. . Is this expected and will it settle down in time, or should I stop taking the Pregabalin before it gets any worse.

It takes 3 weeks before pregabalin is fully effective and 50 mg is just a starting dose. I would add 25 mg every couple of days but then stop at 150 mg until the 3 weeks have gone by. Then resume increasing by 25 mg every couple of days until you get to the dose that controls your RLS. According to the Mayo Clinic Updated Algorithm on RLS: "Most RLS patients require 200 to 300 mg pregabalin," but you can go as high as 600 mg.

You don't take it twice a day. It's taken in one dose at night. 100mg is below average dose. As Sue says, pregabalin takes 3 weeka to take effect at FULL dose.So increase as advised up to 150mg.
