I have been taking gabapentin for nearly a year. I have cut it back to 2 tablets a night. All of a sudden I have this itchiness around my upper body, does anybody else have this problem?

I suggested this before but you might want to try switching to pregabalin. Divide the gabapentin dose by 6 to get the pregabalin dose.

Yes I might do this. I’m seeing the nurse on Monday and I’ll see if she can help me as it’s not easy getting an appointment with a doctor. Thank you Sue

Taking a total of 900 mg per day. Have zero itchiness.

presuming it’s the tablets as I don’t take anything else, I’m going to try and switch to pregabalin I just hope this doesn’t give me other problems. I would say RLS is one of the worse things to happen to me, these tablets are like a crutch you can’t do without
