I understand your problem very well and I mistakenly took 2 Pregabalin one night. It didn’t help the sleep or my legs but the following morning I felt drugged and wouldn’t have driven a car feeling as bad as I did. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

I know pregabalin is used by many. I've never been on it. Do we know if there are any long term issues with it? Do people have to increase dosage like many other meds? Is withdrawal an issue? Just curious what long time users are experiencing. Glad it works for you.

Hi JenI have been on Pregabalin for more than two years. I now take 275 mg at night, which I had to gradually increase to as lower doses did not allow sleep. 300mg is the maximum but I really don’t want to get there! Recently I have found I sometimes wake because of RLS and have to walk around for half an hour, or have difficulty getting to sleep and have to get up again. I generally get about 6hours sleep and if very tired can get 8 hours - heaven. The side effect I hate is weight gain which is common, I think because appetite is increased. Sadly I have had to buy larger sizes.

I am hoping I can continue as at present but knowing RLS am not over- confident of that. I have been on Ropinirole so that is not an option.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Good wishes.
