Hi Sahhara
These medications may well may your RLS symptoms worse:
Selective Serotonin-Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs): Celexa (Citalopram), Cymbalta, Duloxetine, Effexor, Lexapro (Escitalopram), Paxil (Paroxetine), Prozac (Fluoxetine), Serzone, Venlafaxine and Zoloft (Sertraline).
Wellbutrin (not available in the UK) and Trazodone do not generally worsen RLS. Mirtazapine (Remeron) will worsen RLS for a small minority but not everyone.
Hope this helps.
If you find it makes rls worse, you could try amitriptyline instead. It works for me and doesn't seem to affect my rls. It actually helps me to sleep but then we're all different and what works for one, may not work for another. With rls it's all trial and error. Good luck!
