You do like to ask the simple questions - don't you?

That has to be the funniest joke ever. 😢😂

Thats what this whole site is about. Millions of differing answers according to how you react to different medecines.Maybe you could start researching by checking out these two websites.

rlsuk and rlshelp.org

Sorry- I can't seem to be able to highlight or underline on this phone ( galaxy j3- if there is a tech savvy 3 yr old reading this )

Loadsa help and info on them.

Meanwhile you could let us know your history re symptoms and meds.

Good luck and happy hunting.

Hi have been on pregablin and pramipexole for years and before that tried it all neurologist say my wires are crossed thats all they could say .my legs control my life and when people say tea coffee and no excersise contributes to rls i say total rubbish .if ppl truly have rls then only they truly kno how it controls their life .my life would be totally different if it wasnt for rls .

Jeannie beannie, can you tell us what dose your Pramipexole is. Are you taking any other meds from your doctor for any other illness or any OTC meds. There are some medications that can make RLS worse for many of us.

I AGREE WITH YOU 200% AND FOR ME IT SEEMS LIKE A "LIFE SENTENCE" I AM 66 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH IT AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. IT DEFINITELY CONTROLS MY WHOLE LIFE!?

Hi yes some people take it for granted that it's a normal thing to sit for hours without moving but not for us everything you do works round how your legs are at the time and even then that can all change in a second .

Hi yes I did reply I checked out the medications and have been on many different ones and been on patches too medication helps but for me does not completely control Rls as it can come and go just as quick so what is needed is something that works there and then and there isn't .

you are never going to get complete relief from ANY med or combo of meds. The meds I take control it 90% of the time, but there are always going to be times when the RLS wins out, no matter how well our meds might work at times. You said earlier that your RLS can be fine for weeks, so I venture to say that is a pretty good outcome. All of us with RLS WILL have good times and bad. That is the nature of the beast, and yes it sucks when it rears its ugly head!

I must say tho not nice but glad that other ppl kno about this awful condition tho not life threatening but also could be because im sure some ppl feel like ending it all as i have in the past thought that there must be somebody that can solve all this how i wish .

Check out augmentation. Look at Pregabalin or Gabapentin. At the worst Tramadol is out there.

Cheers.
