Worth a try, thank you for sharing. I know the 20 minute walk helps as I do that already.

Like aspirin I have no doubt that vitamin e is a viable treatment for RLS. Like aspirin, it inhibits a chemical in our bodies called prostaglandin e2 or PGE2 for short. From what I read it seems as though PGE2 can inhibit the release of dopamine in certain parts of the body ie one study showed that PGE2 inhibited the release of dopamine from rabbit retina. Anyways, less dopamine release from our brains means more RLS symptoms. So PGE2 bad and vitamin E, it's inhibitor is good. Supposedly as we age our bodies produce more PGE2. Lucky us. One study on vitamin E showed two important things. One is that in lower doses it assists in the synthesis of PGE2 but in higher doses it inhibits it. So 1000 milligrams sounds right. Also, it showed that this inhibitory effect was only seen in old rats not young ones. So I'm going to guess that you're over 19 years of age :)

Wait 1000iu sounds high? Do u mean 100? Vitamin e is not readily excreted from our bodies when we take too much. Vitamin c and some bs are readily excreted but not a or e or a lot of the oily vitamins. R u willing to try 100 iu next time to see if that might not work as well?
