My feet often burn in the evening when I sit down to watch tv. Sometimes I have a prickly, tingly feeling in my feet at the same time.

My doc has not mentioned RLS but, after reading these posts, I am wondering if that's what this is. Do any of you have the burning sensation?

Hi Jaybe.

I too have the same feeling of tingling and burning. my toes are also affected and the skin feels like severe sunburn, I have problems walking very far and if I have to go out shopping I take two Tramadol an hour before hand which helps with the pain.

Hi Jaybe,

I experience very hot burning feet most of the day and night which I have always assumed was linked to my RLS. Although uncomfortable, I do not get the tingling or pain.

Hi Jaybe

I am sorry to hear about the burning and other sensations you are having in your feet when you sit in the evening.

I suggest you look at the following link which may help you decide whether you have RLS or not.

If you find you do have RLS it would be advisable to see your GP.

I have exactly the same symptoms. My feet get so hot I can actually walk in the snow barefoot without feeling the cold much. My legs and definitely my feet are always uncovered in bed.

I get that two, and don't know where to put them for comfort. Not sure it has anything to do with rls but others will know better than I.

I did, and I went to a foot doctor and found that I have no fat in the bottom of my feet so my feet burned so bad I'd cry...tried everything. Basically the only thing that helped was staying off my feet. Hope this helps. xxx Mitzi

I have had RLS for over 30 years. I do not have that feeling in my feet. It's all in the legs. Creepy, crawly, gotta get up and move or I will go out of my mind feeling. That is enough for me. sometimes the meds work, sometimes they don't...

Burning sounds like more like neuropathy or nerve pain. Burning is not the description, usually for RLS. You have to have that URGE to move that you cannot fight. Look up diagnostic criteria for RLS. A google search will do it and it is posted all over here as well.
