Daffodil I have never seen that before but it certainly looks worth trying for people who are struggling to eat?

Daffodil, this is so cool that I really wish you would post it again with something in the title that tells people it's to do with "re-training PSP patients; swallowing ability?" - or whatever makes sense?? - or edit the title? Point being to make it pop up when people are searching the vault of post subjects in the future.

I hope I don't seem critical - far from it! I see such valuable stuff our members post, and don't want it "lost".. know what I mean?

It clearly makes the tongue stronger. I wonder if it would actually help the swallowing mechanism in the back of the throat? I have a feeling the disease stops the epiglottis (?) working properly and that causes choking. But this device would help speech.

I'll inquire about it on my next visit to Parkwood, two of the neurologists on my team work out of there.
