Dad saw his GP at least three times and was given a Parkinson's diagnosis. And a referral to neurologist. Three neurologists, bad medicines later, I took him to IU NeuroScience Center, because word on the street was that they had more up to date research. So it took 4 neurologists to get to PSP and an additional one who specialized in PSP.

But the neurologist diagnosed labyrinthitis and it was two more trips to the neurologist and four more to the GP before we sought a tertiary level neurologist who diagnosed PSP.
