My husband, 54y.o., diagnosed with advanced stage prostate cancer, Gleason 9, metastasis to pelvic bones and lymph node. Anyone with similar diagnosis? What was your treatment plan? Questions to ask? Thank you for any tips.

I'm really sorry that you find yourself here. The new gold standard is triplet treatment. That is Androgen Depravation Treatment (ADT) such as Lupron, Darolutamide (Nebeqa) and Docetaxel chemotherapy.

I was diagnosed in May 2020 aged 53. This was before the triplet therapy. I have been lucky and have responded really well to ADT and Enzalutamide (Xtandi). See my profile for supplements that I take but to be honest there are no studies that back these up. Every one is different with advanced prostate cancer, literally none of us are the same.

My recommendations to your husband are to exercise lots (this is the number one thing to do) along with having nice family times. Get a second opinion. Keep researching but this is a good place for information.

Bumping this up. This question has been asked before. I found the below. If anyone else can wade in to help this new member it would be greatfully received I am sure:
