That is so cool! I am three months post SBRT, and also completed six months of Orgovyx. Feeling great and looking forward to a life without hot flashes!

Hi, Tom.

How are you doing now?

How did you do on Orgovyz? Were the hot flashes bad? Any fatigue?

I'm scheduled to get my SpaceOAR installed Monday, and then SBRT in a couple of weeks.

My ADT plan, which I've been transitioning into over the past few weeks, is to stop completely the testosterone supplementation and increase the estradiol gel to full-dose, in place of doing Orgovyx ADT.

Bob, I am doing absolutely fabulously and I hope you do as well as I did.

I typically had one or two hot flashes at night that would wake me up......kick a leg out....throw off the covers and carry on. Really not bad at all. No fatigue, gained 2 pounds, seemingly maintained muscle mass, no man-boobs. All SBRT short term side effects gone in two weeks. I am telling you this has been a piece of cake.

Keep us posted.....Stay Strong Brother!!

I've been on Orgovyz for a month now and it is much more tolerable than Lupron was, at least for the short term. My main issue on Orgovyz is that it limits me to 5 consecutive hours of sleep instead of the 7 to 9.5 hours I was able to sleep before that. And the occasional tipsy feeling which happened to me maybe 4-5 times over the past month.

But it is much better for me than Lupron. No depression for 3 to 6 weeks after each injection. Actually my mood does not appear to be impacted as while on Lupron I did not feel anger (I was putting that on my feminine side coming out) but on Orgovyz as I as easy to anger as I was pre-adt so I feel more like myself :)

Nice use of "off piste". I had IMRT May 2023. PSA dropped from 4.3 to 1.1 last recorded February 2024. Good luck.
