How many different types of machine or applications are there, one reads about cyberknife/nanoknife etc.Are they all equally effective or am I misreading dr google.
I'm asking 'cos if I decide on treatment I 've been offered 5 sessions at The Christie Manchester this is of course provided my diagnosis doesn't worsen.

Nanoknife is not SBRT. It is a kind of focal ablation called irreversible electroporation (IRE). There are many different platforms for delivering SBRT, and they all should have good intrafractional imaging.
As already pointed out, SBRT can be run off various instruments. Nanoknife is something quite different and generally not appropriate for localized prostate cancer.
