Prostate Cancer and foul semen?

Can Prostate Cancer cause foul-smelling semen? My girlfriend noticed that my semen suddenly smelled foul (after coitus) and wondered if we should use a condom. I suspect it is because we did not have sex (and I had no ejaculations) for almost 3 weeks (travel and getting a rhinovirus/cold after being on an airplane for 3 hours). Can I blame the foulness on the virus, on stale semen (abstinence) in my prostate or is there a possibility that the prostate cancer has done something to my semen?
