Welcome! You may want to include your diagnosis details in your profile. Where do you live - can you be treated anywhere?
We have all been there, not fun and a bit overwhelming to say the least. I feel the first thing is not to panic but start to deal with it all. Ask a lot of questions, get as much information as you can and seek to really understand what is going on, this is not the end of the world, all of us were in the same position at one time, and life continues and this can be overcome. I consulted several doctors and got confirming diagnosis, along with suggested options. Then my wife and I made a joint decision on how we wanted to proceed, this affects your spouse almost as much you ourselves. I was given a book titled Guide to Surviving Prostrate Cancer, by Dr. Patrick Walsh, I found it very informative and pertinent, I would suggestgetting that as a starting place to get more information.
You do not provide enough information for the forum to help you. AND, you must do some of the work yourself. There are excellent and comprehensive pamphlets and books out there to guide your thinking. Have you read them? Yes, you will have to decide on treatment/no treatment/which treatment/from whom? Yes, this is not a crisis and you have plenty of time to think about it and choose your pathway.
It is overwhelming but this group can help with the choices. Also can provide some comfort in letting you know we’ve been there... and are still here going strong.
