Reactive Hypoglycemia and Pregnancy-Labour

Since I have reactive hypoglycemia before getting pregnant, I can not eat simple sugar. If I eat high sugar my blood level drops till 50 (normal at least 70). Do you know does this effect the baby? how can I manage labour without eating anything more than 12 hours etc?

Is this condition simular to diabetes?

They're are certain foods & snacks you should try to avoid whilst pregnant because as far as i know things that contain a high level of sugar or salt can send your body into shock which can result in fits.

But also there is certain snacks like dried fruit / or fresh fruit which can give u enough energyto hopefully get through labour.
