can I be not pregnant now and pregnant 2 weeks ago?

I had my last period beginning January. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago (when my boobs hurt) and it was positive, (they stopped hurting two days ago) I had a tiny bit of bleeding now and took a test which said I'm not pregnant. which am I?

You can't have a negative positive result, so you were definitely pregnant 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, you may be going through a miscarriage. Usually the hormones stick around a bit longer, but when I had a miscarriage a few years ago, my hormone levels dropped very rapidly. I would test again early in the morning & see what you get or make an appointment with your GP. There's nothing they can do if it is miscarriage, I'm sorry, but at least they can test you as well & put your mind at rest about what is/has happened. Good luck.

Usually, tests don't tend to show false positive results, but it's possible to get a false negative result. I think you should call your GP and ask to book you in for an early scan because of the bleeding - or maybe first get a clear blue and test again. The bit of blood could well be old blood, many women experience a light spotting around the time their period would have been due. Good luck! xx
