Has anyone else heard about this nub theory on the 1st scan bing able to define gender and has anyone used this theory on their first scan and been right?
Nub theory?: Has anyone else heard... - Pregnancy and Par...
Nub theory?
Never heard of that!!, I have read extensively and the baby genitals cannot be seen until later on. However would like to know more about that theory.
I agree with Amirasofia i've never herd of it neither as babys genitals can't be seen until around about 20 weeks. I would like to know more about that theory too.
Well when I saw it on net the other day it was the first I'd heard , apparently both genders have a nub between their legs from an early foetal age which other develops downwards(girl) or upwards for a boy, the nhs don't advise of it cuz apparently it's not 100% proven but a few reviews from people who have had private scans have been told about it, but it's not always possible to see the 'nub' on all first scans there is one on mine and from this theory it would mean I'm expecting a boy but I'm unsure of how reliable it is
The 20 week scan is not always 100% but the genitals
are fully formed by 13 weeks so it could be possible.
One of my friends had a private scan at 12 weeks and they used this method but got it wrong so wouldn't count on it!
