Wonderful things are happening,

Hi all I know it's been a while, too long in fact, but I've been busy on holiday looking after my nice and nephew, whilst at centre parks with sis and bruv in law. And oh boy! Good training and a very active holiday. it was a mile to the pool from our cabin, and we went swimming at least once a day. due to there being wave machines rapids etc we were in there for at least two hours at a time. add badminton( not easy to play when your trying not to jump about) table tennis were I spent most of the time bending down to retrieve a ping pong ball, which is something that is becoming increasingly difficult.

So swimming is erm different got in and bump shot up, it felt like it was moving with every little wave most odd, but the relief after the back ache of walking there was great!

Anyway I walked six miles one day swam twice, spent lots of time playing and laughing with bumpkins soon to be cousins, and ate and drank well. When I got home after a six hour drive I felt grouchy ,and lethargic, I put that down to a long day, that was the start of a Two Week long cold, I'm usually over them in a couple of days, and would have killed for a strepsil, instead I did homemade honey lemon and ginger Vicks type stuff in hot water with a towel as an inhalationand paracetamol, but only if I was in pain. Saw the midwife on the fifth of nov and heard little ones heart beating away, and bumpkin has been moving some. So much so that hubby felt it from the outside. this last week there have been some definite kicks, and I've started to sing some nursery rhymes to bumpkin when I'm alone. Baby's also experienced headphones, so far BEP, and some heavy metal, not played loud though. Next I think some classical. I'm counting the days until my twenty week scan. Fifteen days to go. Wow I'm almost halfway there!

I've been missing you! So good to hear all your news! I love the cute name bumpkin! I'm envious of your energy. My hips are so achey it's untrue, just a little walk and I need to sit down! I've never been like that in my life. I have 2.5 weeks until I have my 20 week scan and I'm just as excited as you! Love the music choices you have played bumpkin! So cute. All my love, Kaleidoscope xxx

This is wonderful to hear! I have 3.5 weeks til 20 week scan, im unsure if ive felt movement yet, it could well just be wind! I totally sympathise with achey hips, backache and difficulty bending over! I work behind a bar in a restaurant, and there is lots of bending over to get drinks etc. have you experienced any round ligament pain? Im suffering quite bad with it and was wondering if theres anything I can do to ease it? Xx
