Has anyone had a Negative pregnancy test that was incorrect and actually ended up being positive?!

This will happen on rare occasions. Usually it's because people test a little too early. Most pregnancy tests are accurate from the day your period is due, but even the most regular person may have a late period, and if this happens the month when you fall pregnant, then testing when you expect your period to arrive may give a negative result. Wait 5 days and if you still don't have your period, test again.

I did. I took a test one evening and it was negative, took another the next morning and it was positive!

have you actually missed a period? I know you can get tests that tell you pretty much from conception nowadays but it's more reliable to wait until you've missed a period I think. maybe try again in a few days?

Yes, unfortunately I have come on my period now. Wasn't the answer we wanted but guess we've gotta keep on trying!!
