Can anyone advise with constant painful throbbing legs?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing constant pains in my legs for the past 7 weeks which seems to be getting slowly worse. The sensation I get is a burning aching throbbing pain at first it was in my right calf but now seems to be experiencing the same in my other leg, I have been tested for clots in my legs but they said the tests came back negative. When I am bad with my legs I struggle to walk and am finding nothing seems to ease them. Has anyone got any advice or could shed some light as I am having no joy when visiting my dr?

Hi Bex-s,

I'm sorry to hear you're so uncomfortable...rest assured that painful cramp in pregnancy is quite common, especially in the legs... we do have some information on cramps on our website at nct.org.uk/pregnancy/cramp-....

If you'd like to speak to an NCT practitioner who can support you, do call our helpline on 0300 330 0700.

All the best,

Alice x
