My daughter was a sound sleeper until about 7 months old but then she started waking up a lot during the night. We were going to let her settle back to sleep but she keeps moving around in the cot hitting her head against the cot railings.
I fear she might hurt herself so end up picking her up but this only seems to encourage her to be up more often.
The room is pitch black and she now likes to sleep on her tummy but every time she gets tired of the position, instead of turning, she sits up in the cot.
She sleeps in our room and I’m not sure how to move her into her room when she’s like this.
Any suggestions or similar experiences would be much appreciated
Xx

Morning, I found with both of mine their sleep patterns would be up and down. My 2nd was a great sleeper from the beginning but then would have rough periods.
If she’s still in your room could that be the problem, Maybe she knows you’re there and wants your attention?
Morning. Thanks for replying. She was teething for a long period but I think that’s hopefully over now for a while. She had her eighth tooth out a few days back.
I’m going to try putting her in her own room and see if that helps. I know it will be rough at first an d a lot of drama but it needs to be done xx
