Pink discharge

Morning - this is my 3rd pregnancy, sadly my 1st was a miscarriage at 7weeks. I am currently 5 weeks and yesterday I went to wipe and there was a pink tinge to my discharge (I am so sorry for the TMI and picture 😞). This morning I had the same. I’ve got cramps but they are not painful and I’m also BF my 5 month old son. I’m a bridesmaid tomorrow and I’m so unsure what to do. Should I stay home and rest, whatever will happen may happen either way. Has this happened to anyone else before? Should I be worried? I hope someone can help and reassure me. I am trying to contact my midwife but the line is busy. TUA

Hey! I had this last week - I was 5 weeks 4 days. Not going to lie I panicked. It was only when I wiped and was browny/pink - I spoke with my GP who said to monitor. It stopped within 24-36 hours. My midwife said yesterday, that it could have been implantation bleeding. But still pregnant and plodding along at 6w+5days. I wish you all the best. Maybe call 111 for some advice x

I understand that any light sign of blood can cause panic and concern. However my midwife told me that implantation is a process that could continue until week 7. So it could possibly that. Best wishes.

I had bleeding from 5 weeks on and off for a month or so. I was told to put on bed rest.

After 6 weeks an EPU can do a scan to check all is well? I was a frequent visitor at out local EPU

thank you everyone. I had a scan at the EPU and there’s no bleeding and pregnancy is in the right place. Going back for scan in 2 weeks. These first few months are always the toughest to go through.
