Hi mum's, new here. We found out we were pregnant yesterday but I'd had a feeling for a little while as my period was 10 days late. I'm 33 and we've been trying for just under a year and a half so it's great news but also scary as will be my first. I've been pregnant before but not been able to carry to full term previously so fingers crossed.
For the last 2 weeks I've had a nausea and thought it was to do with being gluten intolerant or IBS. I wake in the night with it and it's just constant! I haven't physically been such so I feel like I'm being dramatic but I'm just exhausted and don't want to eat or drink. Also the smell of ketchup makes me wretch, so that's new!
I keep reading that it's normal to have nausea so I guess this is just a moan.
Hope you are all keeping well xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy and I'm sorry for your previous loss.I found nausea really tough. I've had it almost non stop until around 14 weeks. I lost weight during that time and then slowly was able to eat more. Lots of smells made me gag.
I hope you feel better soon and everything will go smoothly.
Thank you so much. I feel like I'm constantly moaning to my husband about one thing or another. I'm hoping once I reach the second trimester it will settle down. The antisickness tablets from the doctors are really helpful x
Congratulations! I am almost 20 weeks and still vomiting several times a day. For most people it last until 14 weeks or so. For me it was worst at about weeks 9-12 which I believe is normal. It is meant to be a very reassuring sign that your HCG is rising, so see it as a mixed blessing
Congratulations to you too. Oh no I'm sorry to hear that. I spoke to my GP and she prescribed some antisickness tablets that I take 3 times a day I usually have them before I want to eat and I'm mostly able to keep my food down. How are you getting on? X
I'm still feeling nauseous but I got some tablets from the doctors which are really helpful. I can manage food most days and I'm feeling more human 🤣 how are you?
