Will ask my midwife at my next appointment but was hoping someone maybe able to help me understand the figures beforehand.
According to the scan the abdominal circumference is 90th percentile, estimated weight is 61st% and femur length is 30th%.
Should I be worried as the figures are all very different, especially concerned with the femur measurement?
Our LO had similar but other way round. 95th for femur. 50th for belly. 40th for weight. One thing I can tell you is not to worry and it’ll change again at your next growth scan. Ours changed all the time. Even the proportions. Such as her legs shrunk in comparison to her previous belly measures etc.
They advised my DD was nearly 8lb at 37 weeks. She was born close to 42 weeks and come out at 7lb 13! X
No, these are quite often different. My little girls femurs were always a high percentile and everything else low, which always made me chuckle as we are quite a short family and I don't think their legs will ever be as high percentile again 😁They only worried with my growth charts when overall my baby's growth changed from what it was tracking. My little one was tracking on the 10th percentile and this was fine, but when it dropped to 9th they induced me early, and since she born she has tracked on the 2nd percentile, she's 5 months now, dinky, but perfect.
They measured our daughters stomach and said it was on the larger side, they stated at the rate she was growing she would be a 12lb baby. When she was born she was 6lb 9 so no where near the predictions
Like others have said, these change all the time, if your only 37 weeks you’ve still got plenty of time for them to change again
