Brown discharge

5 weeks pregnant i have brown discharge and mild pain that comes and go is it normal? My first pregnancy

I had the same thing around 4 weeks and it turned out to be implantation bleeding. I had no idea I was pregnant and just assumed it was a very light period as the cramps were very similar. If it doesn’t stop after a couple of days I would recommend going to your local hospitals early pregnancy unit.

It’s not normal. Every time I’ve had brown discharge the outcome has not been good, especially with pain too. I would call the doctor if I were you just to see what they tell you. It could be nothing but it’s best to talk to your doctor about it.
