How did everyone else find their second pregnancies? Did you have the same symptoms as first time round or not?
I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant with my second child and knew I was pregnant from 2 weeks! So far I have exactly the same symptoms as first time round, nausea, sickness, tired. I have thrown up a few times already. Finding it hard at the moment as I'm waking up and going to bed everyday feeling nauseous! The nausea kicked in mid way into week 5. With my first, I didn't shake the nausea till around 14 weeks.
Thanks x

With both mine I had totally different, my first i had really sore boobs and that was it the whole way through, but my second I had really bad sickness till I was 12 weeks, then came back when i was about 24 weeks, my second pregnancy was defo the worst with symptoms x
Hey there, I had 2 different pregnancies. With the first I had almost no symptoms at all aside from sore boobs early on. The second pregnancy I suffered awful nausea from early on up until about 12 or 13 weeks.Overall my first pregnancy was much smoother than my second, my second born caused drama from day 1 and he still does now 😂. In many ways the respective pregnancies reflect their personalities xx
I found out I was pregnant with #2 last Sunday. Id been super nauseous for the week and half prior so far I am exactly the same as you.....pretty much. I'm feeling ill all day. Going to bed feeling ill and waking feeling ill. It's causing havoc with getting my older son to school because I just can't bare the thought of leaving the house incase I am sick in public. I'm about 5-6 weeks along and even in this short time it feels different to my first pregnancy. I still had morning sickness with #1 but it was sporadic. I was only physically sick about 4-5 times and the nausea would only happen around then. This nausea is just constant....I haven't been sick with it. Hoping it will just suddenly clear. 🤞🏻
I’m at the end of my second pregnancy and it’s been tough. To be honest my first pregnancy was not great with sickness which I had throughout- but at least I could nap and rest more and the world was a different place! This time around with similar symptoms and looking after an 18 month old and the effects of corona (less help/ social interaction) has made it feel really hard. Also I’ve had SPD this time around, which I know is more common in second pregnancies, so one of the only things we can currently do in Covid life (go for walks) has felt too much effort! Fingers crossed things get better in the next few months and your pregnancy will be in a post Covid world!! 🙏🏻🤍 Good luck! Xxx
Both my full term pregnancies were the same hardly any symptoms only sore boobs some tireness in the early weeks hip pain later. Im 16w now with 3rd and again nothing dramatic hopefully another easy smooth pregnancy. Totally different labour/births with 1 & 2, 1st was awful long back to back baby ventouse cut stitches longer recovery, 2nd quicker labour so not so bad no stitches was fine after. Praying for super easy and quick with 3rd lol
I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my second and not much has been different. I felt slightly more nauseous than with my first but I think this was largely due to not eating regularly enough. I also felt it slightly earlier but it all stopped before the second trimester and I've felt normal ever since. I didn't seem to get any round ligament pain this time (maybe because they've already stretched?! 😂).
The main difference for me is that I have an anterior placenta this time round so I barely feel any movement, unlike my first pregnancy when I had a posterior placenta. X
My first pregnancy was very different from my current. I had cravings for olives (I love them) and everything was pretty smooth except for bad growing pains until about 4-5 months. I was a size 6-8 at the time so was told it was normal. This pregnancy 15 years on has been totally different tiredness, heartburn, sleepless nights or dreaming about random nonsense by boobs have been really heavy and itchy (I do have eczema had no issues during first and it’s been consistent from pre pregnancy this time). I’m 35 weeks and find it difficult to get comfy now but I know I’m going to miss having her in my tummy so am just trying to enjoy it for now. Good luck with your pregnancy
