I had a salty taste a couple of times but I think mine was from my gums bleeding when I brushed my teeth, I know it's more common when you're pregnant to have bleeding gums so it was fairly normal but it was horrid taste. I also had a couple of nosebleeds in my trimester which always left a horrid taste in my mouth too. It's definitely worth a call to your midwife though, just to get reassurance if nothing else x
Gum bleeding stopped earlier on, its very unusual i know early pregnancy some women get metallic taste. This is definitely not that. See what they say im getting terrible dry mouth too. G D is playing on my mind i don't even know if its too early for that.?! I've know reason to think that just google. X
I had gestational diabetes and had absolutely no symptoms at all, just had the test as I fell onto the at risk bracket of age and bmi. May just be one of those strange pregnancy symptom. Best of luck x
