Im going to be 6 weeks pregnant since my last period tomorrow. I notice I don’t have many symptoms other than feeling bloated and getting hungry. However I have been getting mild cramps on my stomach. Most of the time it’s on the left side. Last night I woke up and felt the pain getting stronger on the left side for 5 minutes but then went away. Do I need to call my gp as it’s too early for them to find anything. Thank you x

Pain in stomach 5 weeks pregnant
If you're in the UK the GP usually doesn't see you through your pregnancy, it is all done through the midwife services. Have you already referred yourself to a midwife? If you have their contact details it might be worth giving them a call and talking through your symptoms and see if you can get an early scan or if you haven't got a midwife yet maybe call 111 and see what they advise.
I think some cramping is pretty common as your body starts to adjust to being pregnant but this should not be worse than normal period pain, best of luck x
I had pain on one side when I was weeks pregnant. It was bad enough to stop me sleeping. The GP saw me and I was referred for an early scan to check it wasnt an ectopic pregnancy. Thankfully it wasn't but slightly embarrassing I was told the stomach pain was caused by constipation and I should try peppermint tea. It did help a lot but if you are in lots of pain on one side it's worth getting checked.
