2 days of migraines

I’m 11 weeks 2 days pregnant.

The last two days I’ve had bad migraines. Where It’s started with blurred vision on left and then pain on right side of head over the eye. But today was really bad as I was being sick aswell.

Am I ok? Or should I be more concerned?

So sorry you’ve not been well. I also suffered from migraines and hadn’t ever had them before. I called the midwife and she said it’s common, they are a result of hormone changes but also can be due to heat/dehydration so make sure you are drinking enough water. She advised me to call if they went on for longer so I would say if you’re still not right today then maybe ring 111 for advice xx

Migraines are the worst.

I’ve woke up feeling better today. Hopefully it doesn’t come back tonight x

I had loads of migraines around the same stage in my pregnancy. My midwife said that some women can become magnesium deficient which causes this, so to take a supplement. I did and they did clear up but who knows if that was a coincidence or if it was just hormones levelling out??

May be worth a try though but check the safe dosage if you do - I can’t remember but think I took 300mg a day x
