Hello! I am not pregnant yet but I was wondering what is the process to follow, once you know you are pregnant, to find and "book" (if there is such a thing) an independent midwife? What are the usual timescales? Is that still happening amid covid? Can anyone suggest any resources on that please? Thanks!

Have you tried googling for an independent midwife?
I can't believe I haven't. I'm googling so many things at the moment about pregnancy, birth and having a child in general - so many fears and questions to work on, that I reached out without googling first! Thanks for the check ^^
