Do you reckon I’m in labour! Contracting irregularly (mild/strong period pains), mainly when walking or attempting to relax. Constant urge to poop. Really low back ache. I had a speculum on Wednesday with a gynae and they believed I was 1cm dilated with soft and slightly open cervix and said she could feel his head. I’ve ever since had stronger period type pains, with some bad to make me stop what I’m doing, but they only last max 20 secs.

Its possible, but I wouldn't worry until theres more of a regular pattern. I had strong irregular contractions with my second for over 48 hours before my waters went and she was born an hour later. Strong irregular contractions can last for weeks but make sure you're ready to go just in case. X
