Hey everyone, we have just booked our first family holiday! Our little boy will be 10 months when we go and we want to get some swimming lessons in before hand, it's an indoor swimming pool. I'm not really sure what you put a baby in for swimming, are there special waterproof nappies?
Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you.

Most pools require a 2 part system, the nappy is only to catch poo, pee just goes straight into the pool.
We use a Splash About Happy Nappy (which is what the pool we swim at requires). These are little neoprene shorts that are tight around the legs and belly. There are lots of patterns on line and often there are sales of them on Facebook market place too.
Underneath you can then either use their reusable under nappy, which is like a little pair of pants or you can use swim nappies that you can pick up at any supermarket.
None of the swim nappies are waterproof, or will absorb wet as they would absorb the pool water and become too heavy. So don't put the swim nappy on to travel in, which is what a lady at our swim group did and ended up with a soggy car seat 🙈
Happy Holidays 😁
We just buy the ASDA swim nappies. I’ve not been to one that needs something else on top but I have heard this so maybe try and find out or just take two parts with you. Also we’ve always taken a swim aid for us it’s been a rubber ring with a seat in just so you don’t have to hold them all the time x
