I had a horrible cough when I was pregnant, particularly bad over night. GP decided I had silent reflux and prescribed Gaviscon, it really helped. Talk to your GP, there might be something they can give you to help. Remember to keep doing those pelvic floor exercises x
Baby is well protected - don’t worry. I had a horrendous chest infection when pregnant with my first and ended up with two courses of antibiotics. Unfortunately for you, your body is doing everything to look after baby right now and you get what’s left over! Go and see your doctor if you’re feeling really bad, but don’t worry about baby.
