I would have thought you need to go back. At my work they calculate maternity leave on your earning pay week 25. If you're making 0 then you get 0. Surely you need to contact work, You need to know what their policy is. Also you cant start maternity leave again until you're a certain amount of weeks.

Hi you need to return to work in Oct and if you are due in April 2020 then you will need to ensure you notify in writing and provide a MATB1 cert to employer around late Dec to qualify for SMP. You could return to work and go sick if you have a maternity related illness but you would need to check your sickness entitlement policy.

Pregnancy related sickness could start off your maternity leave earlier tho.

Only in the last four weeks of pregnancy now.

As your on maternity you are still employed so you’ll be entitled to your next maternity as normal you’ll have to go back in between. My sister was pregnant after her first before she went back to work. Her maternity leave was only 6mth I was covering her maternity and was pregnant aswel with my 2nd.
