39+4 with baby 3. Need advice

Hi all I'm currently 39+4 with baby number 3, I had a sweep on Tuesday lost alot of mucus plug Tuesday & Wednesday. I have been having trouble sleeping,sitting , Walking pretty much everything I do is painful lol. I keep getting really intense pain in my lower back then in my groin area, the stabbing type pains are taking my breath, this has been going on for two days now. I keep thinking I'm going into labour but I'm not contracting in the front of tummy. I am seriously fed up now. Has anyone else experienced this in 3rd pregnancies was this the start of labour for anyone or just false alarms.

I have only had one baby but the exact same happened to me at that point in my pregnancy. I was losing my mucus plug for around a week. In big chunks too !! Then I had a sweep, went into labour the very next day ! I was in early labour for 3 weeks before my sweep, so sounds like it could be that !! Every pregnancy is different after all ! Thank you, I am due tomorrow and seeing the midwife for another sweep so fingers crossed I will have a baby before the weekend lol xx

Just checking in (only just seen this), I hope things went well and baby is here?! My little boy didn’t come until 41 weeks so I get the stress of seeing your due date come and go! Xxx

Sorry I had forgotten about my post, the sweep worked my little girl arrived the day after my due date on the 21st aug, She's now a happy healthy 10week old. Doctors said they wouldn't leave me any longer due to all reduced movements I had so if no natural labour I was to be induced luckily it worked. I went 42weeks with my first absolutely awful lol x

Aww that’s fab !! So glad you’re both ok ! My boy started crawling today and is 1 in 7 weeks ! Honestly don’t know where the times going x
