Hi I’m 23 weeks pregnant and the past few weeks I’ve completely lost my appetite... I used to love food and eat normally but now I’m forcing myself to eat anything. No nausea so not really sure what’s up..
Has anyone else suffered with this in their second trimester?!
I had this when I was pregnant. I never had nausea or sickness just food never thrilled me. Just had to force myself to eat and no enjoy. I even went off chocolate and I’m a chocoholic lol xx
Im taking all my vitamins.. but was worried about not getting enough nutrition for baby..
I’m the same! Been struggling with it for a couple of weeks now. Snacking has kept me going. Hopefully it passes soon. X
Definitely! I just want a lot of plain, Carby things (been eating loads of mash, pasta and bread) but then I suddenly have an urge for really flavoursome things like curry.
Eat what you can, when you can. Keep your fluids up. You'll get your appetite back eventually (I got really hungry the second I hit the third trimester but still just wanted plain carbs), and providing you're eating a bit here and there the baby won't miss out. Keep drinking water to help avoid painful braxton hicks, I get them really bad when I've not been drinking enough.
