My daughter is three months old and I wanted to try expressing and giving it to her in a bottle because I want to go and do my kit shifts at work when she is 6 months but still want to carry on breastfeeding, she is demand fed, and is always on my boob, but when I Express I only get 1oz, I dont know what to do, tried what I expressed and she hates the bottle too.

Expressing

I started off only getting a bit. My top tip would be express from one boob whilst feeding from the other. Baby will stimulate let down much better that the pump. Also try expressing after a hot shower. Or after holding a warm flannel on your boobs.
Good foods to eat are bananas, almonds and oats. I used to combine the lot and make almond milk porridge with loads of other fruit (mum needs to eat good food to nourish baby). I also took a fenugreek supplement until my supply was well established. It makes you stink and I thought my baby was a bit windy after. But it helped to get my supply up initially
Good times to express seemed to be first thing in the morning.
If you keep up the expressing you will start to get more milk. Best of luck!
I dont have an answer about the bottle as my nearly one year old never took a bottle. I found expressing took practice and also a 6 month old who is getting solid food might not need as many feeds as now. I found I could do kit mornings from 6 months and she didn't want to feed then but mine loved food straight away.
Look onto nature bond or Hakka silicon pumps. Some women done respond well to electric pumps at all, but these silicon ones work by collecting the let down from the opposite breast baby is feeding from & can be much better for some x
