Evap line or positive?

So, I have done tests all week and some have come back negative and a couple have give me very faint lines. I’m not sure if these are evap or a bfp??! To me they look like a positive , not sure if I’m going mad or 😩😔 I also took the strips out of the packaging they was in because I could see the lines more clearer.

Me personally I wouldn’t take that as a positive I’d hope it would be a obvious positive in a day or two that dpo are u?

Well it looks it to me. why else would there be a faint line?

And I’m not late at the minute , I’m due tommorow so I’ll wait and see. But my boobs have been so sore and doubled in size that’s why I’m thinking am I pregnant. Are clear blues any good at detecting?

I’m in a similar situation not being to personal but do ur breast hurt all over mine are killing me more 1 then the other

Yes and really itchy! That’s why I started thinking am I pregnant, and I’ve been eating loadssss! Are ur tests neg?? Xx

Hey I've had the same result and I'm due tomorrow as well but usually I am three or four days early my cycle is 24 days just hope I am expecting and so are u too xxx good luck xx

Top one I can see a super super faint line bottom one nothing. It should be darker in a day or two if your definitely pregnant good luck xx update 🤗

I took one today and just another faint line again, so not sure tbh now. Maybe I’ll have to wait 3/4 days to test again.

Prob if it’s still before period due we 2 of my pregnancies I only got a positive the day after period due

I dunno when to test again.. how comes it doesn’t show up before a missed period thou? 🤔

It doesn't show before your missed period as the hcg hormone that the test detects is too low to be detected. If you've waited passed the time to look at the test it could be the evaporation line. Wait a few more days and then test, it'll be stronger then and you'll know for sure.

That statement by itself isn’t necessarily true. Some people get positive lines 9 DPO, ie WELL before their period is due.

It really depends on the test and how sensitive it is. A test that detects a hormone level of 10miu/ml show up very early on, often before the missed period. The digital ones often only show later.

Also, red dye is better to use than blue, blue tends to have more evap lines. The really cheap strips on Amazon are actually quite good to use early on - you can pee on them whenever you feel like it without spending a fortune (get 50 for £6 or so)

Of course first urine in the morning has the highest concentration...

It says that tests are invalid as soon as they are taken out of its containers, so I wouldn’t do that. My first two successful pregnancies showed up way before my period was due. My ectopic only showed up 10 days after period was due, my current pregnancy only showed positive very faintly the day after my period was due... all bodies are different. Personally, because I couldn’t wait (mainly due to ruptured ectopic), I’d test every morning, but if you want clarity and don’t want to keep buying tests, wait 2-3 days and you should have a much clearer response.

Because hcg level double every 48 hour so maybe it’s not strong enough yet depends when you implant etc

They look positive this is exactly how mine looked for both my pregnancies one is now amost 2yrs old and I am 32 weeks so I would go buy an first response early testing one just to get a better idea I kept testing and testing they all turned out the same

First response early testing is the best to do it detects lower HCG clear blue needs higher HCG also ones that arnt line or + signs need higher even when I was in early pregnancy after the dr stated I was the digital tests still showed me being negative

Yeah I have 2 children already; but when I tested with them it showed up early.. also I’m bleeding this morning so not sure if it’s my time or the month. But I’m so confused as I’ve had signs of pregnancy and faint lines. Not sure what’s going on..

I’d retake one in a day or so time with first morning urine. Also I’d buy a first response test for a clearer result x

Sometimes if you take them out their packaging you end up with lines.

I can definitely see a line but I would do as the other suggest and take another test in a few days - perhaps a digital?
