My period is 6 days late, I'm almost constantly getting nauseous for the past week but I haven't gotten a single positive pregnancy test yet

Hi! I just need some insight and maybe some hope ... It's been about 3 weeks since I've tried to conceive. I am currently 6 days late with my period which is very abnormal for me because my cycles are always on track. I've taken a hpt almost each day and they've all come back negative so far . But I've also had nausea everyday for almost a week, whether it be from eating, not eating, smelling something like perfume, or McDonald's fries even! Other than being extra sleepy at work I don't believe I'm showing any other possible pregnancy symptoms. Honestly I just really want to know if I have a real chance of being pregnant with my first baby. ❤ TIA

Only about one in six couples gets pregnant the first month trying, and you would usually expect to have a positive test by now, but other symptoms don’t usually start so soon for people. Make sure you’re using first morning urine when you’re testing so it is more concentrated. It’s worth keep testing but unfortunately our brains and bodies can work together to play tricks on us when we really want something. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you xx

First response was the first one I used granted it was only after a day so I was probably way too soon. After that I've used the cheap 88cent ones. I just got a clearblue digital and I'll try that first thing tomorrow morning.
