When to stop breast feeding...?

So my 7.5 month old DD is exclusively breast fed and around the same time that she started accepting a little bit of solid food, she decided that she prefers to sleep attached to my boob. Having always let me swap my nipped for a dummy once she'd dropped off, she now wakes up instantly at the feeling of such an apparently disgusting object in her mouth and we've decided that's it- she doesn't want a dummy!

My problem is that as a mum of four I've got quite a lot on my plate and even though she loves the booby, more so than any of her brothers, I'd thought that I would wean her at around 9 months. Now I'm feeling quite concerned about the prospect of her getting content with sleeping (all night once I come to bed) with my nipple in her mouth and it being a huge struggle in another month and a half. In considering biting the bullet and starting to wean now...

Has anyone else gone through similar with a baby that really liked the boob? Oh, I forgot to mention that she fed every 2 hours for the first 5 months. It's now usually 3 hours between feeds and she's gone 5.5 hours a couple of times- when we were out and about and she was entertained. But yeah, basically, she really loved the boob!
