So I am on contraceptives however me and my partner hardly ever use a condom (I know your supposed to but we don’t), I already really irregular periods anyway and had one last month but not yet this month I’ve been feeling increasingly sick lately and have been sick I keep getting regular headaches and I’m tired quite often like walking upstairs carrying things Makes me lathargic. however my breasts do not hurt and they’re not swollen I do get the odd stomach crap but nothing to call anything could I be pregnant?

Why are you supposed to use.condoms? I've not used condoms.with my husband for years... condoms are good for protecting against stis but most other contraception is superior in terms of pregnancy.

I agree, I haven't used condoms with my husband since we have done all Stis test on the first months of our relationship almost 15 years ago. If you're on contraception and has only one reliable partner, that should be enough. Regarding to your pregnancy worries, best thing to do is to buy a pregnancy test. I bought some very cheap and ultra sensitive on Amazon, they picked my pregnancy on day 23 of my cicle (I have irregular shorter cicles in between irregular longer ones).

Best of lucky.

If you have irregular periods I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Feeling sick, being tired etc. are early symptoms of pregnancy but are also common signs that your period is on it’s way, which can be confusing. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. The timing of when to take it may be difficult as you have irregular periods. To start off take a test once you’re a week late. A week after a missed period you should get a positive if you’re actually pregnant. Of course if you have irregular periods, that may not be the case so leave another week and retest if your period doesn’t come and you’re still feeling the same. Repeat until period comes or symptoms stop. Don’t bother buying expensive tests. Cheap strip tests will work just fine. They do a pack of 2 strip tests for a £1 in ASDA or 1 stick test for a £1. (You can get them cheaper online) I used the ASDA strip tests when I was 4 weeks 6 days. It was positive straight away. I confirmed with the cheap stick test and then bought a ClearBlue pack with one stick test and a digital just for piece of mind and to date the pregnancy. I’m now 12 weeks and still occasionally take a test for piece of mind and I use the £1 stick tests. Either way I hope you get the result you’re looking for, good luck! X
