Have you spoke with your midwife about this hun? I don't know what the rate of putting weight on should be but I know you shouldn't be loosing it unless you have real, bad sickness like h g and then they'll keep an eye on you. Talk to your midwife hun see what she says.
I'm 26 weeks and have only just started putting on weight since baby is getting bigger I have severe sickness and lost weight in first few months it happens as long as baby seems to be growing not putting weight on isn't the end of the world. If your concerned speak to midwife.
I was still below my pre-conception weight at that stage due to nausea and poor appetite - I was only 3lb heavier at full term and was a stone below preconception straight after birth - he was an 8lb 5oz baby! Midwife was never worried as bump was growing and I was managing to eat small amounts regularly. As long as you aren't continuing to loose at this stage, and eating what you can, I wouldn't worry. I know from experience it is impossible to force feed yourself! xx
My mum said she was the same, she said it will mean I will not have so much to loose after baby too... Which I hopes the case I need to be wedding dress ready after 9 months haha 😂 xxx
I’m the same, but only 9 or so weeks now.
I’m on a very high calorie diet as weight too low! So hard when you feel sea sick constantly and everything tastes off lol! Xx
Ooo bless you, my nausea stopped around week 18.. I found light juicy things were the easiest to eat and sat better on my tummy.. Like prawns, tomatoes, oranges hope this helps xx
Try not to worry. I didn’t start to gain weight until really close to the end of my pregnancy, probably around 30 weeks I think and I only gained a stone. Baby came 3 weeks early and weighed 6lbs 13oz xxx
I was the same when I was pregnant. Had morning sickness right till the end so never had much of an appetite. What I did eat was healthy to make sure baby got enough nutrients. I only gained 5 kg the whole pregnancy. Baby was 3.4kg when born and healthy. Baby will take all the nutrients from you which is why some women gain little or no weight. As long as baby is growing at the right rate everything will be fine x
