hi all I need your help, I'm a mum to a gorgeous little boy I'm introducing new foods such as lettuce he is almost 16 months old my gran is saying this is wrong i shouldn't be doing that as it will give him gripe, is it wrong to do this.

Haven't heard of that. My son eats lettuce in salads and has for a while. He seems fine with it. He's just turned 17 months. Hope this helps.

Our parents are always saying random odd things. I could be wrong and it could be a thing but I have never heard of that. My son is two next month and eats mostly what we do!!

At 16 months he can be eating anything you can be eating. I must say my 18month old won't have lettuce but that's cuz she just won't eat it not because I've not tried!! I limit sugary and salty stuff and no chewy meat but everything else she'll eat the same stuff we do
