So I had a second scan on Thursday to see what the anomaly on beans bladder is. Looks like there is a blockage so bean isn't urinating properly therefore the amniotic fluid in the sac is low. The specialist said that I need to be monitored because if the fluid gets lower then baby can't properly develop the lungs and if that's the case then its best for me to terminate.
I'm dreading this scan on Monday as this will be when they tell us what needs to be done. I'm really hoping maybe the issue has sorted itself and can carry on to term and have a happy healthy baby.
Sorry for rambling just need to get it off my chest

Hi, I am so sorry what a stressful time for you. How far along are you? I hope it's good news. I know it sounds crazy and may not help at all but try drinking loads of water as this sometimes helps the amniotic fluid levels. My baby has a huge off the scale tummy and her amniotic fluid got quite low at one point I drank like a fish and at my next scan it was better. I do totally understand your baby has more complications going on but it's worth a try to see if it helps a little x
I'm 16 weeks at the moment, nearly 17. How far along are you? Sorry to hear the levels were low but so glad they improved. I'm super hoping that'll happen on the scan tomorrow. As long as the fluid can be recycled it should be ok but depends how bad the blockage is x
Hi I am 38 weeks currently in hospital and bored lol. I would drink loads of water anyhow because it's not only the baby that creates the fluid you do also to some degree so it's worth a try. It could be something that can be easily fixed after birth also so see what they say. I hope you get good news it must be so worrying for you. Will keep my fingers crossed that it's positive news for you x
