when you loose your so called plug or have a show does it have to have blood in it and can it be little bits over a few days can it just be a milky colour? Sorry for the detail.

My show was was lots of mucus with blood. If you have any bleeding even if it is just a show you should go and get checked over.

I think it can vary. I had a little light bleeding which was just when going the loo and mucus. Then my waters broke, not everyone is the same though some people's waters don't break at all x

Everyone is different. Mine was like a bright red jellyfish body and about 3-5cm when I was 4cm dilated. It was almost 2 years ago but I remember it was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I lost it in the hospital when I was in early labour and two trainee doctors were debating over what it was but decided it was the show. I'd had a sweep 10 days earlier which possibly made it bloody. There is no set rules for it.
