Stress can increase you blood pressure and naturally will cause damage to your body, the more you stress the less resistant to stressfull situations you will be.

I was stressing a lot as well, so I started to walk more than I do usually, I found it really helpful. Walking makes me more tired and I sleep better, and lack of sleep was the reason that caused me to stress the most.I didn't sleep well and I was very sensitive to everything that was happening around me, I was crying for every little small thing, my midwife thought I had depression.

As well try to find something you are interested in to read in evenings (book, magazine, not on phone- blue light keep you awake), it will keep you mind occupied and you will think less about things that make you worried.

Try to eat and sleep well.

Everyone have stress in everyday life, if you can speak with the HR at your work place maybe they can they make arrangements at work to put you somewhere where you feel less pressure. Ask for help at home. Spend your time with positive people.

You will be fine, you just have to find the thing that keep you away from thinking negative thoughts.

Have you tried any herbal remedies? I find them really effective, such as Rescue Remedy. They just seem to take the edge off! Some people say they are placebo's but they work for me! (Check which are OK to take whist pregnant first).

Keep talking to your midwife and your partner/close friends about how you are feeling, and maybe consider speaking to your GP.

Keep yourself occupied, if you don't have children already do some things that you won't get to do once the baby is here!

I have craved chocolate through both pregnancies which I don't usually eat much of. I found if I had it late on before bed I'll often wake with anxiety. I cut out the chocolate (which is really hard as its all I want!) and the anxiety seems to have gone. Maybe it was too much sugar and caffeine too late?

Lots of fruit, veg and Omega 3 are always good for the mind :-)
