Can't cope!!

Hi I'm 21 weeks pregnant.. all day yesterday i had a horrible pain in my right side had me in tears, feeling sick and kept getting quite warm. I managed an hours sleep eventually and it passed. Now awake at 3 in morning because the pain is back and I constantly need to pee!! Any ideas!!

Could it be a UTI? When I was in early stages of pregnancy, I had a UTI which caused a hideous pain in my side. I was given antibiotics which wouldn't harm the pregnancy. The pain is likely the infection travelling to organ.

If you feel that bad you should contact your gp, midwife or the day assessment unit at the hospital you are booked with. Hope you're feeling better soon and the rest of your pregnancy passes easily.

Contact ur midwife ... try and take a urine sample with u if you have a clean pot.

I had this a couple of days ago. It was very painful and lasted for 2 days. I didn't contact my MF because it was along my right hand side of my stomach and I could feel baby moving at the bottom of my stomach so wasn't concerned. As pregnancy progresses your uterus shifts to the right so pain can be due to ligaments stretching as the body adjusts. I mentioned it to my midwife at a check up and she wasn't worried. Baby all good at routine scan. If you're really concerned contact your MF but mine eased and passed within 3 days.

Hi, maybe it's the baby moved positions causing pain . Try having v a bath that always does it for me . X

Go and get medical attention and do as people suggest but is this your first child? I had terrible stretching pains with my first and that was really painful. I know not all women get them but it could just be that.
