Go see a doctor and get checked out. Itching is mostly likely due to skin changing and probably becoming dry, I've been having a really bad time with itching and eczema flares since becoming pregnant but my doctors did a blood test as sometimes it can be because of a problem with your liver and it's better to get checked. Your doctor will also be able to prescribe mostoriser if required. In the mean time you may want to reconsider any heavily perfumed soap, bubble bath and shower gels as these can irritate your skin and make it worse

I'm seeing a nurse practitioner today haven't got any rashes or skin changes but we will see what they say, hopefully nothing major is wrong maybe something to do with my thyroid

I had something like this.. I had it for weeks, got to the point where i had a huge rash in ny stomach inside my stretchmarks and I was getting about 5 cold showers a day.. Even at about 3am just to ease it... Finally was advices to use Camomile cream (not lotion) and it worked a treat... I just remember crying of relief from the moment I used it :) hope the problem doesnt get too much for you and good luck

Have u tried getting some ointment to ease the itchiness hun? Do u mind if I ask how far u are as looking to book an early private scan but unsure how far along I am x

in reply toMaia2012

i did a clear blue digital test it said i was 2-3 weeks, when i called the midwife she said i was 4 weeks and 5 days, my private scan was done when i should have been 7 weeks and five days but i am officially 8 weeks and five days, i have ointment from the doctors now and some anthiesthimines just in case i am allergic to something, last night was much better didnt wake up as much to itch so hopefully getting somewhere xD but i would always go for early private scan at 8 weeks onwards as there isnt much to see but after 8 weeks if there is a heartbeat apparently your misscarrige rate drops to 3% which is great stuff :) it was beautiful hearing my babies heartbeat for the first time
