any idea why the above are suitable only aftr 12 months? I realised too late and wondering whether it's big deal that she's been having these for a few weeks...

It's just an advisory love if she is eating it and swallowing it fine then there is no problem

Probably just a legal get out clause regarding choking. Like sell by and use by dates....a little bit of nonsense but saves them from being sued just in case.

hmm well the thing is they are actually like that maizey stuff - kinda like wotsits. That's one of the reasons I like giving them to her - the only car-snack I regard as safe! If heaven forbid she did start choking whilst i was driving, it would have dissolved in her throat before any major drama occurred! hmmm well she's 10 months and big for her age so i think she'll be alright. It maybe is because there is a teeny bit of salt in them. But it is very small and she only eats like a 1/5th of a bag at once ...

oh and hopeful15, you may or may not have noticed that I updated my other post RE breastfeeding and potentially pregnant .... test came back 100% negative 18 days after intercourse so looks like no drama there :)
