What should a 5 and haf mont old do?

My little on doesnt do muchhe is 5 and half months old he gazes alot and he just lays still makes a few sound but doesnt do much doesnt put much in mouth and doesnt play with much.

ask health visitor to run through his development with you - all babies develop at such different rates, HV can tell you whether there's anything to worry about. Does he make eye contact and respond to your voice? X

Encourage tummy time put toys just out of his reach to make him stretch for it.

Babble with him over emphasise your mouth movement so he can see use lots of sound toys so he will turn head towards noise and become much more interested Take him dor walks outside he may not talk but he listens

Which are his physical, communication and languages and his personal social and emotional hope those activities help
